I really need the different language option. I'm completely baffled at what I'm doing wrong. The rest is corresponding to the Language menu they are in.Īs far as I can tell I've done everything by the book, but the language choice switch is not visible on my website. A couple of the Dutch menu buttons are set on Dutch, other to ALL. The German home page is default for German and the English home page is default for English. The Dutch menu's home page is set to language ALL. I made three menus with buttons, each for one language. The plug in is set on 'browser settings', remove url language code and add alternate meta tags 'off', the rest is turned 'on'. The module is set to no drop down, with flags, horizontal display and active language on. Both the language switcher module and the language filter plug in are enabled/published. I made sure that under Content Language all three categories are available. ![]() I downloaded and installed all three languages through Joomla. Then release it when ready.Ī non-registered user should get a cookie and a registered user should get its user's language params changed on the fly.I'm currently working on building my own website and I'd like to make it so that visitors can switch between Dutch, English and German. This lets user prepare a complete set of items assigned to a specific language without even installing that language. > then the Switcher will display that language as a choice and ONLY the items tagged for that language.
